For over ten years, Athena has been constantly investing in cylinder replacement parts for the aftermarket, to improve its production and performance.
All cylinders are entirely designed in Italy by Athena's R&D Department, which possesses strong internal know-how and state-of-the-art tools to design and test each part. They are coated with motor-nicksil, a nickel-silicon coating developed by Athena to achieve smoothness and optimal wear resistance.

The Standard Bore cylinder kit developed by Athena guarantees the same performance as original spare parts, extreme reliability, and optimal smoothness thanks to the lightweight aluminum cylinder, the barrel with nickel-silicon coating, and a piston designed to further reduce friction.
The kit includes the high-quality standard bore aluminum cylinder, the cylinder head, the complete piston with pin and piston rings, and all necessary gaskets.
All components of the kit have been developed to withstand the highest temperatures, pressures, and stresses, and have been validated by Athena technicians with rigorous bench and road tests.
