Carburettor tuning advice:
To begin, let the motorcycle idle for 3 minutes to bring the engine temperature up. Once the engine is warm, ride the bike and fully accelerate for a few seconds, holding it at maximum RPM for about 5 seconds without releasing the throttle. Turn off the motorcycle and remove the spark plug. Depending on the spark plug's color, you can determine how to proceed, for example:
- If the spark plug is a milky coffee color or lighter (like white or grey), the mixture is lean; you need to increase the main jet by 5 or 10 points.
- And if the spark plug is simply black or brown, the mixture is rich, so you should reduce the jet by 5 or 10 points.
- The ideal color for a spark plug is brick-red.
